Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Spanish Translator Intern. The Spanish Translator Intern will work closely with the content and operations teams to translate written materials from English to Spanish while maintaining the intent, format, and tone of the original document. Responsibilities include conducting linguistic research, proofreading translations for accuracy, and providing interpreting support when required. The intern will also collaborate to ensure communication materials are culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate for Spanish-speaking audiences.
Stipend: 35k
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish Translation and English to Spanish Translation
- Skills in Translation and Interpreting to ensure accurate linguistic representation
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain original content tone and meaning
- Experience with translation tools or software is an advantage
- Degree or coursework in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred
