Job Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Pathologist for our Bangalore location. This is a junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of work experience. The role is available as both full-time and part-time employment. The Clinical Pathologist will be responsible for conducting diagnostics and performing various laboratory techniques to ensure high standards in patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency in clinical diagnostics, laboratory techniques, and specimen processing (Mandatory skill)
• Experience in phlebotomy for blood specimen collection and handling
• Ability to use microscopy for analyzing patient samples
• Maintain and adhere to quality control standards to ensure accurate test outcomes
• Excellent attention to detail when analyzing laboratory results and compiling reports
• Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Effective communication skills for interacting with medical staff and patients professionally
• Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues in laboratory settings

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret various laboratory tests to diagnose patient conditions effectively
• Conduct specimen processing, including proper labeling, storage, and disposal of samples
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure everything is running efficiently and safely
• Collaborate with medical professionals to provide insight and recommendations based on test results
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing laboratory tasks
• Document laboratory activities accurately and maintain records for quality assurance purposes
• Train and supervise junior laboratory staff if required and support skill development
• Manage laboratory inventory, ensuring adequate supplies are available for test procedures
