About the role

SPAARK Inc. is seeking experienced Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Support Analysts to support the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Departmental Office of Civil Rights (DOCR), in administering and evaluating reasonable accommodation requests for federal employees and applicants.

This role is critical to ensuring compliance with federal disability, employment, and workplace accommodation laws, including the Rehabilitation Act, ADA, Title VII, and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, experience reviewing medical documentation, and the ability to facilitate interactive accommodation processes while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze reasonable accommodation requests involving disability, religion, and pregnancy-related accommodations
  • Evaluate medical and supporting documentation for functional limitations and accommodation eligibility
  • Initiate and facilitate the interactive accommodation process with employees, supervisors, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Federal Occupational Health (FOH) regarding medical documentation and suitability determinations
  • Draft legally sufficient accommodation decision letters, including approvals, denials, and alternative accommodation recommendations
  • Conduct essential job function analyses with supervisors and hiring officials
  • Identify effective accommodation solutions and assistive technology options
  • Maintain detailed and organized case files in accordance with agency procedures and confidentiality requirements
  • Prepare reports, summaries, correspondence, and supporting documentation as directed
  • Ensure all assignments are completed within established timelines and service-level requirements
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act requirements, and DOT security standards
