Role Description The Spa and Salon Professional at Government Hospital Anantapur will provide grooming, basic wellness, and personal care services to patients and staff in an on-site facility located in Bengaluru. This full-time role includes performing hair care, basic skin care, and relaxation treatments in accordance with hospital hygiene and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing treatment areas, maintaining clean and sanitized tools and equipment, managing appointment schedules, and documenting services provided as per hospital policy. The role also requires clear communication with medical staff, understanding special care needs of patients, and ensuring a calm, respectful, and culturally sensitive environment. The professional will follow all hospital guidelines, participate in training as needed, and support continuous improvement of spa and salon services.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in spa, salon, or grooming services, including basic hair care, skin care, and relaxation treatments.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices appropriate for a hospital setting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with patients, families, and hospital staff.
- Ability to follow instructions, adhere to protocols, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Basic record-keeping skills and attention to detail for tracking appointments and services.
- Relevant certification or training in cosmetology, beauty therapy, or spa services is preferred.
- Experience working in healthcare, hospitality, or high-compliance environments is an advantage.
- Willingness to work full time on-site in Bengaluru and to participate in ongoing training and development.
