Role Overview:
We are looking for a part-time, remote SP3D (SmartPlant 3D) Trainer who can deliver structured, practical training aligned with real industry workflows in plant design and engineering.
You will train students and professionals on SP3D tools, plant modeling, and project execution while helping them become job-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver online training sessions on:
SmartPlant 3D (SP3D)
SmartPlant Suite tools
• Teach plant design workflows, including:
Equipment modeling
Piping modeling
Structural modeling
Isometric & orthographic extraction
• Train on coordination and review processes:
Clash detection using Navisworks
Model review and integration workflows
Project setup and database management
• Develop training materials, assignments, and assessments
• Provide hands-on demonstrations based on real project workflows
• Mentor learners and support their portfolio and job readiness
• Conduct evaluations and provide constructive feedback
• Stay updated with the latest plant design tools and industry practices
Tools & Software:
SP3D | SmartPlant Suite | Navisworks | AutoCAD | PDMS/E3D (Preferred)
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in SP3D or plant design projects/training
• Strong knowledge of plant design and modeling workflows
• Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD
• Good communication and teaching skills
• Prior online teaching experience preferred
