Required Qualification & Work Experience-
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years / 5–8 years of experience in plant design and 3D modeling.
- Hands-on experience in:
- SP3D (SmartPlant 3D)
- Piping layout design
- Equipment modeling
- Isometrics and GA drawings
- Strong knowledge of:
- P&ID interpretation
- Piping components and specifications
- Engineering design standards
- Experience in EPC or plant engineering projects preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Job Summary-
We are seeking experienced SP3D Designers to develop accurate 3D plant models and piping layouts using SmartPlant 3D. The role involves preparing engineering deliverables, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities-
- Develop 3D models using SmartPlant 3D (SP3D).
- Prepare piping layouts, equipment models, and structural supports.
- Generate isometric drawings and GA drawings.
- Interpret P&IDs and engineering inputs.
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, and structural teams.
- Ensure design compliance with project standards.
- Update models based on revisions and engineering changes.
- Support clash detection and resolution.
- Prepare design documentation and reports.
- Participate in design review meetings.
