Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor

 

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing daily warehouse operations within Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Business-to-Business (B2B), or Southern Hobby Distribution (SHD). This role ensures accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment through disciplined execution of assigned tasks.

 

Associates may operate at different levels of proficiency, with more senior associates demonstrating the ability to flex across functions and support broader operational needs.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Execution

• Perform warehouse tasks including picking, packing, shipping, and/or receiving
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time
• Supports a multi-channel environment and may be reassigned based on daily operational priorities
• Follow established SOPs and quality standards
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the assigned work area

Productivity & Quality

• Meet or exceed defined productivity, accuracy, and attendance expectations
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or process issues
• Support efficient workflow within the assigned function

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily goals
• Communicate delays, issues, or constraints impacting output
• Contribute to a reliable, team-oriented environment

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment

 

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse or fulfillment experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Familiarity with WMS systems is a plus
