Job Summary
Provides compassionate and comprehensive nursing care in a home health setting, including assessment, planning, medication administration, teaching, and coordination of services.
Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current Mississippi RN license.
• CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
• Home Health or Med‑Surg experience preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care.
• Perform patient teaching and deliver age‑appropriate treatments.
• Complete assessments, discharge planning, and documentation.
• Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise home health aides and update care plans.
• Manage scheduling and patient notifications.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs independently; >50 lbs with assistance/devices.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Manual dexterity for procedures and computer use; adequate vision, hearing, and speech.
