Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef / Executive Chef based in Mumbai. The role involves supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and consistency, overseeing menu planning, maintaining kitchen inventory, and leading a team of kitchen staff. The candidate will also ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, assist in hiring and training staff, and play a key role in culinary innovation and development.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are strictly followed
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Coordinate with front-of-house team for seamless service
Requirements- Culinary degree or currently pursuing/completed culinary studies
- 3–4 years of relevant kitchen experience (pizza/QSR experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with leadership qualities
