Role Overview:
We are looking for a Sous Chef to support kitchen operations, assist in menu execution, and ensure smooth day-to-day culinary service at Four Seasons Resort. The role focuses on strong execution, team supervision, quality control, and operational efficiency, while working closely with the Executive Chef and management.
Key Responsibility:
• Assist in daily kitchen operations and service execution
• Support in menu preparation and new dish trials
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion, and presentation
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are followed
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
• Help control food cost and minimize wastage
• Coordinate with service team during busy service hours
• Support banquet, wedding, and buffet preparations
• Train junior kitchen staff and helpers
• Ensure timely preparation and service delivery
Requirements:
• 2–5 years of experience in restaurant/resort kitchen
• Knowledge of Indian and multi-cuisine preferred
• Ability to handle fast-paced service operations
• Experience supervising kitchen staff
• Basic knowledge of food costing and inventory
• Good communication and team coordination skills
Preferred Background:
• Candidates with Tier 2 or Tier 3 city hospitality experience will be preferred
• Experience in standalone restaurants, resorts, or destination properties is highly valued
• Hands-on operational experience is important for this role
