Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join our team in New Delhi. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage food preparation and presentation, maintain kitchen efficiency, and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Additional responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, monitoring inventory, and creating exceptional culinary dishes that align with the organization’s standards of quality. Leadership and a passion for culinary arts are critical for the position.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in food preparation, culinary techniques, and plating
- Strong team leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Menu planning and ingredient selection proficiency
- Ability to adapt to high-pressure environments and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Formal culinary training or certification is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
