Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Bengaluru. The Sous Chef will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations, assisting in the preparation of high-quality desserts, ensuring adherence to recipes and nutrition standards, and maintaining the kitchen’s organization and hygiene. Responsibilities also include supervising kitchen staff, managing supplies, contributing to menu development, and collaborating with the team to maintain Crave by Leena’s commitment to quality and inclusivity.
Qualifications
- Experience in baking, food preparation, and working with vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-conscious recipes
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, inventory management, and food safety protocols
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
- Creativity in applying new culinary techniques and contributing to menu development
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for plant-based cuisine and sustainability is a strong asset
