Chai Nagri is looking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily kitchen activities, supervising staff, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff during shifts.
• Support menu execution and recipe standardization.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist in training and developing kitchen team members.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and operational standards.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef to ensure smooth kitchen functioning.
Requirements
• 4–7 years of experience in professional kitchen operations, including experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
• Experience in inventory management and food costing basics.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
