Role Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team at our Hyderabad location. This is a full-time, on-site position where the Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are met, and managing inventory and supplies. The Sous Chef will also contribute to menu planning and strive to maintain the consistent quality and innovation that 10 Downing Street is known for.
Qualifications
- Proven culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques
- Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Creative flair for developing new menu items and improving offerings
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage kitchen inventory
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced food and beverage environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus
