This role involves global sourcing by working with internal counterparts across regions, along with end-to-end Sourcing of industrial chemicals from Suppliers & distributors for the Global Key Accounts Division. Open to candidates with 10+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement within the chemical industry.
What will you be doing?
- Lead global sourcing of specialty and industrial chemicals through a strong network of suppliers and distributors
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers across India and international markets, both independently and in collaboration with regional teams
- Own end-to-end RFQ management, ensuring timely and competitive quotations for global customers
- Drive strategic supplier negotiations across pricing, lead times, and service reliability
- Partner closely with Global Key Account Managers (KAMs) to enable business growth and customer success
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain and customer service teams to ensure seamless order execution
- Leverage data and inventory insights to optimize sourcing decisions and improve overall efficiency
Who are we looking for?
- 10+ years in sourcing/procurement
- Experience in chemical distribution / trading companies preferred
- Strong supplier “hunting” and negotiation skills
- Experience working with global or export markets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
