About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and trend-aware Sourcing & Procurement Manager with experience in women’s ethnic wear. This role requires strong decision-making, hands-on sourcing skills, and the ability to identify new designs and reliable suppliers aligned with business needs.
You will work closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure collections are trend-relevant and commercially successful.
Key Responsibilities
Trend & Market Analysis
- Monitor fashion trends, customer preferences, and sales data
- Identify new design directions in ethnic wear
- Conduct market visits and competitor analysis
Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Identify and onboard suppliers, artisans, and manufacturers
- Maintain strong vendor relationships for quality and timely delivery
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times
Product Sourcing
- Source fabrics, trims, and designs based on market demand
- Coordinate with internal teams for sample approvals and production quality
- Ensure timely procurement aligned with business timelines
Travel
- Travel to sourcing hubs such as Jaipur, Delhi, Surat, Mumbai, and Kolkata
- Be flexible for occasional weekend travel if required
Operations
- Maintain supplier records and cost sheets
- Coordinate with logistics and production teams
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in ethnic wear sourcing, procurement, or merchandising
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, and garment construction
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze trends and sales data
- Willingness to travel
