We are hiring for the role of Sourcing Manager from Arts& Crafts Industry for New Delhi location.
Salary: 6 LPA - 8 LPA
Experience: 3 Years - 5 Years
Roles & Responsibilities:
Product Identification & Curation
• Identify and curate GI-tagged products and unique regional crafts from all states of India.
• Conduct regular field visits to artisan clusters, craft fairs, and cooperative societies to discover new products.
• Research emerging craft trends and seasonal demand to proactively build the product pipeline.
• Evaluate and shortlist products based on quality benchmarks, uniqueness, cultural significance, and commercial viability.
• Maintain a structured pipeline of new product prospects categorised by region, type, and readiness for listing.
Vendor & Artisan Management
• Evaluate vendor submissions and select products based on quality, authenticity, and market demand.
• Coordinate with vendors, artisans, and cooperatives for product sourcing and onboarding.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with state handicraft bodies, NGOs, artisan clusters, and Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
• Conduct vendor performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product standards.
• Resolve vendor grievances, delivery issues, and quality disputes in a timely and fair manner.
• Create and maintain a verified vendor database with complete documentation and compliance records.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure all products meet NCUI standards for quality, pricing, and documentation including GI certification where applicable.
• Coordinate with quality control teams for pre-dispatch product inspection and approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of GI certificates, artisan registrations, and product authenticity documentation.
• Ensure all sourced products comply with legal, safety, and packaging requirements before listing.
• Periodically review and update sourcing standards in alignment with marketplace policies and government guidelines.
Catalogue & Portfolio Management
• Build and maintain a diverse product catalogue aligned with marketplace strategy and seasonal demand.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify high-demand categories and emerging craft segments.
• Ensure catalogue depth and width across regions, product types, and price points.
• Collaborate with the content and visual teams for accurate product representation and storytelling.
• Monitor product performance metrics and recommend portfolio additions, revisions, or discontinuations.
