Profile : Sourcing Manager
Location: Gurgaon

Experience required : 5-10 years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▸ Develop and own the fabric sourcing strategy aligned with seasonal buying calendars and cost targets.
▸ Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with fabric mills, dye houses, and printing units across domestic and international markets.
▸ Oversee dyeing and printing development including lab dip approvals, strike-offs, and bulk sign-offs.
▸ Lead vendor audits covering quality, compliance, ethics, and sustainability standards.
▸ Drive cost reduction through strategic negotiation and supplier consolidation.
▸ Partner with Design, Buying, Merchandising, and QA teams to ensure timely product development.
▸ Manage sourcing budgets, cost sheets, and present supplier analysis to senior leadership.
▸ Integrate certified sustainable fabrics (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, BCI) into the sourcing mix.
REQUIRED SKILLS
▸ Expert knowledge of fabric construction — woven, knit, and non-woven
▸ Deep understanding of dyeing processes — reactive, acid, disperse, and pigment
▸ Proficiency in printing techniques —digital, screen, rotary, and discharge
▸ Evaluation of lab dips, strike-offs, and bulk quality against brand standards
▸ Advanced negotiation and cost optimisation skills
