Roles/Competencies/Qualification

Dy. Manager

Qualification

BE Graduate in Mech/Prod. Engg

Experience

7~10 Years in Sourcing

Handling Casting & Forging parts experience is preferred

Team Handling

2~3 reportees

RFQ & Supplier Management

1. Understand the drawings and float RFQ to the prospective suppliers.

2. Adhere to the AVL and propose suppliers for AVL.

3. Identify, evaluate & qualify the potential sources in line with QMS requirements.

4. Responsible for Daily Supplier Management.

Commodity / Competencies

1. Build core competency on Castings & Forgings

2. Build knowledge on commodities, train the team & work on creating prospective supplier base.

3. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve relevant financial goals.

4. Knowledge of Costing.

Systems & Processes

1. Good knowledge on ISO processes.

2. Good Knowledge on SAP-MM

3. Good Knowledge on Part qualification processes

KPI

1. Adhere to the set individual performance parameter.

2. Responsible for teams KPI achievement.

Reporting

1. Good knowledge on MS Excel, Develop MIS and meet the daily/weekly and monthly reporting activities.

2. Work with the team and assign responsibilities to ensure MIS reports on time.

Customer Relations

Regular interactions with internal stake holders

Communication & Networking

1. Good written and speaking skills.

2. Able to converse and communicate the requirements

3. Travel as and when required by the business
