Responsibilities:
Industrial Supplier Research and Sourcing: Assist in researching and identifying potential sellers in industrial categories. Support initial supplier outreach and data collection using provided SOPs for certifications, production capacity, and past projects.
Supplier Onboarding Support: Help digitize supplier catalogs by working with engineering teams to map key product attributes (e.g., 60+ specs). Participate in basic supplier verification and compliance checks against standards like ASME, ISO, and IEC.
RFQ Monitoring and Optimization: Track RFQ responses from sellers, flag low participation, and assist in developing engagement plans to boost response times and participation.
Performance Tracking and Analytics: Generate basic supplier performance reports on metrics like pricing, fulfillment, and issue resolution. Support win-loss analysis and use AI tools for market intelligence and at-risk supplier identification.
Learning and Collaboration: Shadow senior team members on factory audits, vendor optimization, and predictive modeling. Contribute to alternative supply chain development in a fast-paced team environment.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of procurement, supply chain, or vendor management (internships or coursework count as experience).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn AI-powered tools for supplier categorization and analytics.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving mindset; basic proficiency in Excel or data tools is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-growth startup setting with a passion for industrial procurement.
- Freshers with relevant projects, certifications (e.g., in supply chain basics), or extracurriculars in research/sourcing are encouraged to apply.
