Job Description – Sourcing Executive (Pre-Sales Support) Position Details

Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Executive to support our Pre-Sales team by understanding client RFQs and identifying suitable vendors, products, and commercial options. The ideal candidate should possess strong coordination, negotiation, and vendor management skills to ensure timely and competitive responses to customer requirements. Basic knowledge of electrical or industrial products will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and understand client RFQs, specifications, BOQs, part numbers, and commercial requirements.
- Identify suitable vendors and suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Source products and materials aligned with client expectations.
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate pricing, lead time, payment terms, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Coordinate with the Pre-Sales team for timely quotation and proposal submissions.
- Suggest technically suitable alternate or equivalent products when required.
- Maintain and update vendor databases, pricing records, and sourcing details.
- Follow up with vendors regarding quotations, compliance documents, and delivery commitments.
- Track pending RFQs and ensure closure within expected timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Candidates from Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Technical backgrounds will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor development, inside sales support, or pre-sales support.
- Freshers with strong communication and negotiation skills may also be considered for trainee-level opportunities.
