Designation - Sr. Engineer/ Engineer
Qualification - BE - Mech / B.Tech
Location – Chh. Sambhajinagar (Maharashtra)
Experience – 6Yrs to 7Yrs
- Procure indirect consumables for fabrication such as welding wires, electrodes, gases, cutting tools, grinding wheels, lubricants, chemicals, PPE, and shop-floor items
- Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for fabrication consumables
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve cost reduction targets
- Plan and control inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock
- Ensure consumables meet quality, technical, safety, and OEM/IATF requirements
- Coordinate with fabrication, welding, maintenance, and production teams for demand planning
- Monitor and improve supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery
- Manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement documentation
- Analyze consumption trends and implement cost optimization and waste reduction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, safety, and sustainability requirements
