Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in Java 8 to join our dynamic team at Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Utilize Java 8 to create automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Perform regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare and present test reports and metrics to stakeholders.
  
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong knowledge and experience in Java 8.
• Proficiency in software testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Java based applications.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
