AI Linguistic Specialist

As an AI Linguist, you will develop linguistic rules, annotate language data, and support AI model optimization for languages such as Punjabi, Malayalam, Oriya, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Telugu, and Tamil. You'll focus on data labeling, quality checks, and model evaluation for applications in speech recognition, NLP, and TTS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop linguistic rules and frameworks for target languages.
• Collect, organize, and annotate language data for AI model training.
• Perform data labeling, quality checks, and model evaluation.
• Optimize AI models for speech recognition, NLP, and TTS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve language models.
• Train and support labeling personnel.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: BA, MA, or PhD in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency in one or more of the target languages (Punjabi, Malayalam, Oriya, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil) with excellent communication skills.
• Experience: Publications or scholarly articles in linguistics are preferred.

Skills Required:

• Strong foundation in linguistics and interest in applying it to AI.
• Proficiency in language(s) with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• English proficiency for internal communication.
• Experience with audio analysis or NLP tools is a plus.
