About the role

Job Description

Lead and oversee all contract administration activities, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, monitor contractor performance and management of change throughout the post-award contract lifecycle. Coordinate with the Procurement team in the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement contract administration policies and procedures to ensure effective contract management and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement team in the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of contracts, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and risk management strategies.
  • Manage and monitor contract performance, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions, timely deliverables, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address contractual issues and minimize potential liabilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders on contract-related matters, including interpretation, implementation, and dispute resolution.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of contract administration processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and partners to achieve favorable resolution of claims.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with legal, finance, procurement, and other relevant departments.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on contract administration practices and procedures to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in contract administration and management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Master’s degree in any related field from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
