Chemistry Research & Development Intern (M/F)

Sorting Swans EcoSocial is an emerging Startup in the Circular Economy Sector and envisions to sustainably deliver maximum environmental and social impact. We are located at Venture Center, NCL Innovations Park, Pune and funded by Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Government of India.

We are specifically looking for Chemistry students (B. Sc./M.Sc.) who are available full time for minimum 3 months. The candidate must be currently residing in Pune City and be able to travel to work location in Pune city.

As Chemistry Research & Development Intern, you will:

• Search, study and summarize the literature in the field of chemical metal extraction,
• Define and document step by step detail workflows for metal extraction process,
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each step of the process,
• Design, plan and co-execute metal extraction experiments with the member of the team,

Basic Qualifications:

• B.Sc./M.Sc - graduated or studying in Chemistry,
• Ability and experience to use lab equipment, glassware and chemicals
• Self-Starter who delivers results with Hands-on mentality,
• Well organized, and ability to work independently,
• Creative problem solver, who is passionate about innovation and sustainability.

Preferred Qualifications:

Past experience/project in the Metal Recycling Processes.
