About the role

This IT Asset Coordinator role supports our Global IT Asset Manager to ensure that all assets are accounted for, appropriately maintained, and utilized effectively to meet the organisation's objectives. What you will do Support the Global Asset Manager in maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT assets. Support the tracking of asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Support vendor reviews and escalations. Coordinate with procurement and finance departments to manage asset purchases. Manage and ensure proper tagging and labelling of assets for easy identification and tracking via the IT Service teams. Maintain and update asset management databases and systems to reflect current asset status and location. Support the Global Asset Manager and Freshservice Product team in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to enhance the end-to-end process. Generate regular reports on asset status, utilisation, and lifecycle for management review. Create and maintain dashboards in Freshservice and PowerBI to be utilised by the Global IT Services teams, including insights and recommended actions from your analysis. Provide support to IT and other departments regarding asset management processes and tools. What you will bring Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting. Proficiency in asset management software and tools, such as Freshservice, Microsoft Excel, or similar platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
