Senior Back-End Engineer (Full-time)

We are looking for an experienced Back-End Engineer to join our talented team and work on building and scaling the PlayStation Network infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex, scalable, and reliable back-end systems that power the PlayStation online experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of your work with other components of the platform. Responsibilities: - Design and develop highly scalable, robust, and secure back-end services and APIs - Optimize and improve the performance and reliability of existing systems - Collaborate with teams across the organization to understand requirements and deliver solutions - Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in back-end engineering Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in back-end development, with proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring, Kotlin, .NET, Node.js) - Strong understanding of distributed system design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development - Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, message queuing, and database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) - Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills - Passion for technology and a desire to work on innovative, high-impact projects
