Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Banking Services
Provide advanced support for Online Banking, Bill Pay, mobile deposits, and account opening review exceptions, including monthly reporting for management.
Exception Item Processing (EIP)
Process daily exception items (NSF, non-post, positive pay, chargebacks) notify officers, process returns, balance items, and submit large dollar return notifications.
ACH Operations
Process, monitor and release ACH files and process manual returns as needed.
Wire Transfers
Review and input wire requests, clear OFAC suspects, process drawdowns, respond to SVC messages, process international wires, and maintain documentation
Debit Card Operations
Process second-tier debit card support, card maintenance, daily balancing, fraud alerts, dispute processing, and card inventory.
General Ledger & Account Reconciliation
Perform daily GL reconciliations, monitor Deposit Operations accounts, and review mobile deposit users and exceptions.
Deposit Confirmations, Benefit Verification & Reporting
Process deposit confirmations, benefit verifications, monitor and report IOLTA account interest, review operational reports, and resolve outstanding items.
Customer Account Administration
Account maintenance, process stop payments, verify holds, interest rate adjustments, review reports, manage dormant/inactive accounts, process FRB adjustments, confirm closed accounts, report charged-off accounts, process reclamations and levies, and review and process subpoenas for compliance.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in bank deposit operations, retail banking, or a related financial services role
• Experience with Jack Henry Silverlake or similar core banking platform preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Working knowledge of ACH rules (NACHA), Regulation E, BSA/AML requirements, and wire transfer compliance including OFAC screening
• Familiarity with debit card processing, dispute resolution, and network requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, experience with banking reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with internal staff, officers, and external parties
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
