Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SOM Architect to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end Service Order Management (SOM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to architect scalable and efficient order management workflows.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow SOM solutions (minimum 2 full lifecycle projects).
- Design and architect order orchestration and fulfillment workflows using ServiceNow SOM.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and architecture.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Ensure best practices in scalability, performance, and security within the platform.
- Work with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and QA.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide long-term solutions.
🧩 Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of total IT experience.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow SOM.
- Strong experience in end-to-end ServiceNow implementation projects (at least 2).
- Hands-on expertise with:
- ServiceNow SOM (Service Order Management)
- Order decomposition and orchestration
- Workflow design and automation
- Experience with SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) or CSM (Customer Service Management).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs)
- ServiceNow data model and platform architecture
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and system design.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Capability to handle complex order lifecycle scenarios.
🎓 Certifications (Mandatory)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow CIS – Customer Service Management (CSI)
- (Minimum 2 CIS certifications required)
