Job Title: Solutions Architect – Zoho Suite of Applications

Summary
The Solutions Architect – Zoho Suite plays a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and optimizing enterprise-grade business solutions using the Zoho ecosystem, including Zoho One, CRM, Creator, Desk, Books, People, Projects, and associated integrations. This position serves as a strategic bridge between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in Zoho applications and integration frameworks to drive digital transformation, automate complex workflows, and enhance operational efficiency. By establishing best practices, governance standards, and continuous optimization, the Solutions Architect ensures long-term success and adaptability of the Zoho environment across departments.
Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Analyze business requirements and design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions leveraging Zoho applications and third-party integrations.
- Develop detailed architecture diagrams, data models, and integration workflows for multi-app environments (e.g., CRM ↔ Books ↔ Desk ↔ Creator).
- Define and enforce implementation standards for security, scalability, and maintainability within the Zoho ecosystem.
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) development and prototyping for complex business scenarios.
Implementation & Customization
- Lead configuration, customization, and deployment across Zoho CRM, Creator, Desk, Projects, Books, People, and other core applications.
- Design and implement Deluge scripts, automated workflows, custom functions, and API-driven logic to streamline business processes.
- Configure user roles, profiles, permissions, and data sharing models to ensure secure and efficient access.
- Ensure seamless solution rollout with minimal disruption to ongoing business operations.
Integration & Data Management
- Integrate Zoho applications with external systems using Zoho Flow, REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party middleware.
- Manage data migration, cleansing, and synchronization across platforms to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Design optimized data structures to support reporting, analytics, and long-term data governance.
Governance & Optimization
- Establish and enforce governance policies for Zoho environment usage across teams and departments.
- Conduct regular audits to improve system performance, optimize license utilization, and reduce costs.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all configurations, integrations, and automation workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders, process owners, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide expert guidance to internal teams and external Zoho partners on implementation and best practices.
- Deliver training and enablement sessions for users and administrators on new features, modules, and automation capabilities.

Technical Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with Zoho CRM, Creator, Desk, Books, People, Projects, Flow, Analytics, Sign, and related platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Deluge scripting, Zoho APIs, and custom function development.
- Experience with Zoho Flow, Zoho Catalyst, or low-code application development.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and data transformation techniques.
- Familiarity with integration platforms such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), or custom middleware is advantageous.
Professional Skills
- Strong analytical mindset with proven problem-solving and architectural design abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and mentoring technical teams.
- Ability to translate complex business challenges into effective, technology-driven solutions.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience implementing Zoho-based solutions or equivalent CRM/ERP systems.
- 2+ years in a solution architecture, technical lead, or senior consultant capacity.
- Zoho certifications (e.g., Zoho CRM Certified Administrator, Zoho Creator Developer) are preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
