Telecom software continues to operate on an outdated model: overweight BSS/OSS architectures, deployment timelines measured in years, constant customization demands, and vendors for whom delays are standard practice. Operators face mounting pressure to commercialize 5G, accelerate MVNO launches, upgrade wholesale systems, and break free from legacy dependencies—yet their infrastructure was designed to resist change.
Totogi takes a fundamentally different approach, and this is not a typical BSS vendor position:
- Three live products, no vaporware: You'll demonstrate a serverless 5G Charging engine, a cloud-native Wholesale BSS platform, and the Telco Ontology—an AI-driven knowledge graph enabling LLMs to interpret a customer's complete telco environment. These are production systems, not future commitments.
- Deployment in weeks, not years: Totogi operates as SaaS on AWS. You won't be justifying 18-month rollouts. Instead, you'll present solutions that go live quickly—and validate that claim in real time.
- You drive the technical decision: From discovery through demos, solution design, and RFP execution, you lead the technical argument. This is not a supporting role or overlay function.
- You compete directly with incumbents: Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia—holding a product edge they cannot replicate in architecture, deployment speed, or economics.
This position centers on securing technical wins. You will deliver customized demonstrations, conduct discovery sessions, architect solutions, and write precise RFP responses for all three Totogi products. The role demands sufficient telecom expertise to discuss charging logic, billing workflows, CRM architectures, product catalogs, system integrations, 5G protocols, migration challenges, and rate structures—then translate that technical depth into business impact within the same engagement.
You will work at the intersection of product capability, sales strategy, and customer requirements. Your deliverables should advance opportunities, support accurate scoping, and convert into measurable revenue. If you have years of experience in presales, solution architecture, or telecom transformation and are ready to represent a product genuinely superior to legacy systems, this role is for you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Running customer demonstrations that showcase the interface and functionality of Totogi's product suite
- Engaging with customer subject matter experts to uncover pain points, technical constraints, and validation criteria
- Building solution architectures for the Professional Services team by aligning customer requirements with Totogi's product capabilities
- Writing RFP responses that demonstrate how Totogi's offerings satisfy technical and business requirements in structured procurement environments
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Carrying quota or closing sales with customers
- Producing boilerplate Solution Scopes that ignore the unique context of each customer engagement
- Conducting sales enablement sessions or handling administrative overhead
Solutions Architect Key Responsibilities
- Securing technical wins that move opportunities forward across Totogi's three product lines (Telco Ontology, AI-Native Charging, Wholesale BSS Platform)
Basic Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering roles within the telecom BSS/OSS space
- Demonstrated experience managing technical sales cycles for charging, billing, and BSS platforms, including lead-to-cash workflows
- Proven ability to deliver impactful product demonstrations and present to senior technical and executive audiences
- Hands-on experience writing code that integrates with APIs (GraphQL, REST)
- Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours for a global role, with the majority of customers and prospects located in APAC, and additional coverage in EMEA and Americas

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
