Job Description: Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Solution Architect (Practice & Product)

Role Overview:
As a Product Architect within the Oracle Practice, you are the "Master Builder" of functional solutions in FIN Area. You will be responsible for conceptualizing end-to-end business solutions, leading short-term strategic consulting assessments, and physically configuring Proof of Concepts (POCs) in our internal sandboxes. You must be able to bridge the gap between a complex business problem and a working Oracle Cloud solution. This is not a traditional pre-sales role.
I. Core Responsibilities
- End-to-End Solutioning: Conceptualize holistic business solutions within the ERP ambit. You must design how R2R, S2P, and O2C flows will operate across Finance, SCM, and Manufacturing modules.
- Sandbox Configuration & POCs: Own the internal sandbox. You will be responsible for configuring POCs in Oracle Cloud ERP (and EBS where required) to demonstrate specific functionalities for new opportunities or for mining existing accounts.
- Short-Term Consulting Gigs: Lead and deliver 4–6 week high-impact engagements, such as:
- Blueprinting Assessments: Defining the future-state business architecture.
- Cloud Migration Assessments: Evaluating legacy footprints (EBS/On-prem) and mapping the journey to Cloud.
- Client Presentation: Prepare "Solution Pages" and architectural decks. You must present convincingly to customers, defending your design choices and demonstrating product value.
- Innovation & Agents: Conceptualize and configure "New Agents" or automated features within the sandbox to showcase the latest Oracle Cloud innovations (AI/ML/Automations).
- Integration Solutioning: Propose functional integration designs for multi-source data environments, ensuring seamless transactions between Cloud, On-prem, and Hyperscalers.
II. Domain Expertise
- Financials Stack: Deep expertise in configuration and process design for GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
- Business Process Flows: Mastery of Record-to-Report (R2R), Source-to-Pay (S2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
- Cross-Module Awareness: Strong understanding of how Finance integrates with SCM (Purchasing, Inventory) and Manufacturing (Costing).
- Reporting Requirements: Ability to gather requirements and architect solutions for BI Publisher, OTBI, and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
III. Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10+ years in Oracle ERP, with a strong focus on Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Mindset: A "Product First" approach. We are looking for an architect who loves to build and configure, rather than just manage a proposal process.
- Autonomy: Ability to own a consulting sprint (4–6 weeks) from start to finish with minimal oversight.
- Communication: High-level presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technical/functional architecture for a business audience.
IV. What this role is NOT
- This is not a Pre-sales packaging role (no churning out generic RFP responses).
- This is not a pure Delivery role (you will not be parked on one project for 12 months).
- This is not a Project Management role.
