Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in manufacturing environments, system integrations, and enterprise application architecture. This role will support critical initiatives involving PLM systems, JD Edwards (JDE) Manufacturing, and enterprise-wide integrations across business platforms.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience designing scalable integration solutions, translating business requirements into technical architecture, and collaborating with cross-functional business and IT teams in a global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end integration solutions between enterprise applications, including PLM, ERP, and manufacturing systems
- Lead solution architecture efforts for initiatives involving JD Edwards Manufacturing and PLM platforms
- Define integration patterns, data flows, APIs, middleware usage, and system interoperability standards
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable enterprise solutions
- Analyze current-state architecture and recommend future-state integration and system improvements
- Support data mapping, transformation, and migration strategies across multiple systems
- Ensure architecture aligns with enterprise standards, security requirements, and best practices
- Provide technical leadership during requirements gathering, solution design sessions, and implementation phases
- Create and maintain architecture documentation including system diagrams, integration specifications, and technical roadmaps
- Troubleshoot integration issues and support production deployments when needed
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to understand business processes and optimize system connectivity
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Integration Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles
- Strong experience working within a manufacturing industry environment
- Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE) Manufacturing modules
- Strong understanding of PLM systems and how they integrate with ERP/manufacturing platforms
- Proven experience designing and supporting system integrations, including data extraction, transformation, and synchronization between enterprise systems
- Experience with APIs, middleware, ETL processes, and integration platforms
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and data flows
- Experience leading technical discussions with both business and IT stakeholders
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating PLM systems with ERP/manufacturing applications
- Experience with JDE Manufacturing Module
- Familiarity with cloud integration technologies and modern API architecture
- Experience with enterprise integration tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or similar platforms
- Previous experience supporting global manufacturing organizations
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience within large enterprise or industrial manufacturing organizations
- Exposure to supply chain, engineering, or product lifecycle management processes
- Prior experience working in complex multi-system integration environments
