About the Role:
As a Solutions Architect (SA) at iMerit, you will design and implement human-in-the-loop
(HITL) data solutions for AI/ML teams. iMerit specializes in high-quality data services,
including data collection, annotation, enrichment, generation, and model evaluation, and
your work will directly support clients building next-generation AI systems across computer
vision, natural language, multimodal, and audio domains.
In this role, you will be the primary solutions partner for clients during pre-sales, scoping,
onboarding, and implementation, translating custom requirements into scalable,
executable workflows that align with iMerit’s global delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
● Solution Design & Implementation
○ Translate client objectives into scalable, end-to-end data solutions.
○ Design and implement workflows for data collection, annotation, data
processing, and evaluation.
○ Partner with project managers to ensure successful onboarding and
stabilization of new projects.
● Client Engagement
○ Act as the primary technical contact for clients throughout the pre-sale and
early delivery lifecycle.
○ Lead technical consultations and present workflow designs, proposals, and
proofs of concept.
○ Lead newly engaged customers through any technical sales consultation and
project implementation phase, while building trust in the solutions offered by
iMerit.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration
○ Serve as a bridge between Sales and Project Management to ensure solution
integrity and client satisfaction.
○ Work with internal engineering and product teams to customize tools and
interfaces where needed.
● Program & Workflow Management
○ Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, from concept to
implementation.
○ Conduct data analyses, workflow documentation, and value mapping.
○ Monitor ongoing project health and recommend process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
● Experience: Minimum 3 years in a client-facing technical or program management
role, preferably in AI data services or similar.
● Technical Background:
○ Hands-on experience in data annotation, DataOps, LabelOps, or MLOps.
○ Working knowledge of Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) models, data
formats, and evaluation workflows.
○ Working proficiency in Python.
○ Proficiency working with tabular data at scale (500k+ rows): validation,
transformation, and analysis (e.g., using regexes and aggregate functions in
either SQL, Pandas, Spark, Hadoop, etc.).
● Soft Skills:
○ Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
○ Proven ability to work across global, distributed teams and cultures.
○ Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
○ Ability to manage multiple projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
● Experience with GenAI data workflows, crowdsourcing, or localization services.
● Familiarity with RFX processes (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
● Product management experience or exposure to technical product development.
● Interest in ethical AI.
● Self-directed learner and adaptable collaborator with a bias toward action.
