About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Solution Specialist – Manufacturing & Operations with expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) to drive end-to-end solution lifecycle management. The role involves working closely with cross-functional IT and business teams to design, implement, and optimize digital solutions for manufacturing and operations.
You will play a key role in enabling business transformation by leveraging SAP and non-SAP technologies, ensuring efficiency, automation, and reliability across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis:
- Understand business drivers, gather requirements, and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
- Solution Lifecycle Management:
- Own and manage complete lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, optimization, and retirement of solutions.
- SAP PP & QM Expertise:
- Design, configure, and optimize SAP PP & QM modules aligned with manufacturing and quality processes.
- System Integration:
- Work on integration with SAP (ECC / S/4HANA) and non-SAP applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system efficiency.
- Application Support:
- Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, and defect resolution to maintain system stability.
- User Experience & Adoption:
- Map user journeys, enhance employee/customer experience (EX/CX), and drive solution adoption.
- Performance & Optimization:
- Define KPIs, monitor system performance, and implement continuous improvements.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work with business process managers, developers, and external vendors for end-to-end process optimization.
- Innovation & Automation:
- Identify opportunities to implement AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Roadmap & Planning:
- Develop solution roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, and support resource planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in SAP PP & QM or manufacturing/operations systems
- Hands-on experience in SAP ECC / S/4HANA implementations
- Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, configuration, and support
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, MRP, BOM, and quality inspection processes
- Experience in system integrations, data management, and troubleshooting
- Exposure to custom applications and third-party integrations
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Knowledge of AI, automation, and digital transformation tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to handle stakeholders and work in cross-functional teams
