Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infrastructure & Cloud Architect with deep expertise across Morpheus, OpsRamp, Zerto and VME platforms. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in pursuit support, complex delivery engagements, and technical enablement across the broader team. This position requires a strong understanding of modern hybrid-cloud ecosystems, automation, monitoring, backup/DR solutions, and HCI technologies. The candidate should have good knowledge about Cloud Management Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pursuit & Pre Sales Support

  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals, and technical presentations.
  • Participate in customer workshops to gather requirements and articulate solution designs.
  • Provide architectural guidance for hybrid-cloud, automation, and monitoring offerings.

2. Delivery & Solution Implementation

  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions leveraging Morpheus, OpsRamp, Zerto, and VME.
  • Architect and deploy scalable HCI solutions using HPE VM Essentials and combine capabilities of monitoring, Backup and DR and automation with OpsRamp, Zerto and Morpheus respectively.
  • Automate service catalogs on Morpheus with Ansible and Terraform to different cloud platforms such as VMWARE, VME, Azure and AWS.
  • Ensure delivery quality through governance, validation, and best practice frameworks.
  • Design High Level and Low level documents with standardised workflow.

3. Team & Capability Enablement

  • Coach and mentor delivery teams on platform capabilities and architectural standards.
  • Develop reusable solution templates, deployment frameworks, and automation blueprints.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, playbooks, and hands on technical training.

4. Platform Engineering & Optimization

  • Drive platform enhancements, integrations, and performance tuning across multi cloud environments.
  • Establish operational standards for monitoring, backup & DR, and cloud resource governance.
  • Collaborate with product engineering and operations teams to resolve complex issues.

Required Technical Skills

  • Cloud & Infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of Hybrid Cloud (IaaS, governance, identity, networking).
  • Experience with Azure Local / VMWARE / Nutanix deployment and architecture concepts.
  • Hands-on expertise in VMware virtualization (vSphere, vCenter, Aria Suite, VCF), Nutanix (AOS/Prism), and HCI architectures.
  • Strong understanding on Kubernetes Platform
  • Strong command of Linux/Ubuntu OS
  • Proficiency with Python/Ansible/Terraform automation
  • Platform Expertise
  • Morpheus: Self service automation, catalog design, integrations, orchestration.
  • OpsRamp: Monitoring, observability, automation, discovery, and event management.
  • Zerto: Disaster recovery, replication architecture, data protection strategies.
  • Automation & OS
  • Strong command of Linux administration.
  • Proficiency with Ansible automation: playbooks, roles, CI/CD integrations.
  • ITSM, Monitoring & Tooling
  • ServiceNow: CMDB, service catalog, integrations.
  • Monitoring frameworks: OpsRamp, Azure Monitor, vROps, or equivalent.
  • Backup & DR
  • Deep working knowledge of enterprise backup tools such as:
  • Veeam
  • Commvault
  • Zerto

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation ability.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across multifunctional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in cloud & infrastructure architecture roles.
  • Relevant certifications in VMware, Nutanix, Azure, Automation, or ITIL are a strong plus.
  • Experience designing solutions for enterprise customers in complex multi-cloud landscapes.
