- Validate data quality and consistency across source systems, perform reconciliations against financial and operational reports, and recommend corrective actions to improve data integrity.
- Support design and implementation of data governance practices related to D365 F&O data (definitions, ownership, lineage, and documentation).
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and optimize data integrations between D365 F&O and analytics platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, SQL).
- Contribute to solution design for new D365 F&O implementations or rollouts, ensuring analytics and reporting requirements are considered from the start.
- Provide training and enablement to business users on reports, dashboards, self‑service capabilities, and best practices for using data in day‑to‑day decision‑making.
- Prepare clear documentation, including data dictionaries, report specifications, KPI definitions, and user guides.
Skills And Qualifications
- Solid experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, particularly understanding data structures and key business processes in Finance and/or Supply Chain.
- Hands‑on experience designing and building reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools (DAX, data modelling, performance optimization).
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills, including ability to work with large datasets, join multiple sources, and validate results with business stakeholders.
- Good understanding of D365 F&O data entities, Data Management Framework, and common patterns to export data to external stores (BYOD, Data Lake, etc.).
- Ability to translate business questions into analytical requirements, KPIs, and visualizations that are intuitive and actionable for end users.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail, data accuracy, and reconciliation against source reports.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (functional consultants, solution architects, data engineers, and business SMEs).
- Excellent communication skills, able to present insights and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
