Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Solution Architect with expertise in Microsoft Security solutions. This role is part of the Pre-sales team and involves working closely with sales and customers to design, demonstrate, and position secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft’s security ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into effective security architectures and support the sales lifecycle through solutioning and PoCs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Expertise
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Microsoft Security solutions including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Security, and Azure Security Center
- Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and Microsoft security advancements
- Provide technical guidance on best practices and solution positioning
2. Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and business challenges
- Conduct technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by recommending appropriate security solutions
3. Solution Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end security solutions aligned with customer needs
- Create architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and integration strategies
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards
4. Proof of Concept (PoC)
- Lead and support PoC engagements for clients
- Provide hands-on assistance to ensure successful implementation and validation
- Troubleshoot and optimize solutions during PoC stages
5. Technical Documentation
- Prepare detailed documentation including architecture designs and implementation guides
- Develop solution proposals, case studies, and technical collateral
- Support sales teams with RFP/RFI responses
6. Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, delivery, and product teams for seamless execution
- Share insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitor solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of solution offerings
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Pre-sales, Solution Engineering, or Technical Consulting
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Security technologies
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat landscape, and risk mitigation
- Hands-on exposure to:
- Microsoft Defender (MDE, MDO, MDI)
- Microsoft Purview
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA)
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Experience in creating solution proposals and architecture diagrams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
