Techno-Functional Solution & Domain Expert ⿿ Supply Chain Finance (SCF) (Invoice Financing, PO Financing, Discounting, Receivables & Payables)
Experience :-
10⿿12 years in Supply Chain Finance and Product Engineering
Role:-
The Techno-Functional Solution & Domain Expert will own end-to-end solutioning of Supply Chain Finance (SCF/FSCM) capabilities within the product. This role ensures that business requirements are translated into technically feasible, scalable, and configurable product solutions, while maintaining strong domain correctness across financing and discounting workflows.
The role acts as a bridge between domain, product management, architecture, engineering and UX, with hands-on involvement in solution design, impact analysis, and critical customer engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Techno-Functional Solutioning
- Own end-to-end solution design for SCF modules including:
- Invoice Financing / Invoice Discounting
- PO Financing
- Vendor / Dealer Financing
- Receivables & Payables Financing
- Dynamic Discounting
Convert Business Requirements Into
- Functional flow diagrams
- Techno-functional solution documents
- API / integration-level requirements
Ensure Solutions Are
- Configurable and reusable
- Performance-optimized for high transaction volumes
Domain Ownership & Validation
- Act as the domain expert for Supply Chain Finance within product engineering.
- Validate functional logic covering:
Credit limits, utilization & exposure
Interest, charges, tenor, and settlement
Disbursement, repayment & liquidation flows
Functional specifications
Complex change requests
Exception handling and edge cases
- Ensure compliance with banking and regulatory expectations.
Technical & Architecture Alignment
- Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to:
- Ensure domain solutions align with system architecture
- Validate data models and integration contracts
- Perform impact analysis for enhancements and regulatory changes.
Pre-Sales, POC & Customer Engagement
- Support RFPs, POCs, and customer workshops with strong techno-functional inputs.
- Provide accurate capability mapping and gap analysis for customer requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:-

- Strong hands-on experience in Supply Chain Finance / Transaction Banking, covering:
Invoice Discounting
PO Financing
Receivables & Payables Financing
Buyer⿿Supplier⿿Bank ecosystems
Credit risk and limit management
Settlement & liquidation logic
Interest, charges, and fee structures
Technical & Functional Skills
- Experience working in software product development environments (mandatory).
- Experience on FSCM / SCF product platforms (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of:
Microservices / service-oriented architectures
APIs, events, and integrations
Data models and domain-driven design concepts
- Hands-on experience with:
Functional design documents
Impact analysis and solution reviews
Stakeholder & Communication Skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with:
Banks and enterprise customers
Product managers
Architects and engineering leaders
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and complex, cross-team discussions.
