About The Team

The Business Analyst team are the experts in our products. They deliver new functionality to our customers and provide product knowledge to both internal and external resources. Working closely with Product Managers and our customers, the Business Analyst team ensures that we deliver functionality that supports new business requirements.

About the Position The Lead Business Analyst will focus on customer’s business processes and requirements and incorporate those processes and requirements in design documents, product development, and quality assurance. In addition, they will develop and maintain a strong and positive business relationship with Product Management and Customers to clearly understand the customers’ business, as well as their short and long-term business objectives. The Lead Business Analyst relies on extensive industry experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and as such, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. The Lead Business Analyst performs a variety of extremely complex tasks.

Role and Responsibilities Gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements based on users and business needs.

Create and define functional business requirements, design documents, business scenarios, and test scenarios that meet the high-level requirements as defined by the customer or product management.

Work with customers, SMEs and/or product managers to gather requirements, prioritize functionality, and communicate with customers regarding their business needs.

Act as a SME/resource for development, quality assurance, documentation, support, and other internal and external departments for product questions and issues.

Follow design standards and procedures.

Attend design review meetings, ensure that functionality for design projects matches the design objectives, and provide feedback.

Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks/assignments/projects simultaneously.

Lead proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals with minimal guidance.

Participate in industry events and stay current on upcoming trends in the market.

Perform other duties as assigned.

About You

BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience. 8-12 years industry experience and/or business analysis experience. Motivated self-starter with an eagerness to learn. Independent and requires minimal direction. Confident and comfortable engaging with customers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Has good experience following Agile methodology. Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of the industry to the completion of complex assignments. Experience with requirements gathering and analysis. Has good understanding of how the Business Analyst team contributes to work unit’s success and able to recognize wider business implications of decisions/actions. Ability to listen to customers or business experts, analyze their requirements and supply solutions. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Knowledge of leasing. Use Case modeling experience is helpful. Experience with JIRA.
