We are hiring a SolidWorks Designer with 3–5 years of experience in sheet metal design for fabrication projects. The role involves creating production-ready models, drawings, and flat patterns aligned with shop-floor requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design sheet metal parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Create 2D drawings, flat patterns, and BOMs
- Ensure designs are fabrication-ready (laser cutting, bending, welding)
- Coordinate with production/fabrication teams for feasibility
- Optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in SolidWorks sheet metal design
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, welding)
- Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings
- Good understanding of tolerances and materials
- Flexibility to travel or relocate within Bengaluru based on project/site requirements
Preferred:
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma/Degree
