Role: SolidWorks Drafter
Location: Chengalpattu, Chennai
Work Mode: On-Site
Experience: 3β5 Years
Qualification: BE Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Joining: Immediate to 30 Days
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SolidWorks Drafter to join our Engineering β Global Support team.
ππ²π π₯π²ππ½πΌπ»ππΆπ―πΆπΉπΆππΆπ²π:
β’ Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
β’ Prepare manufacturing and fabrication drawings
β’ Update and modify existing designs based on engineering changes
β’ Generate BOMs and engineering documentation
β’ Coordinate with design engineers and project teams
β’ Maintain drawing standards, revisions, and documentation
β’ Support engineering projects and global design requirements
π₯π²πΎππΆπΏπ²π± π¦πΈπΆπΉπΉπ:
β’ Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Part Modeling, Assembly Modeling & Drafting)
β’ Good knowledge of Mechanical Drawings and GD&T
β’ Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes
β’ Experience in BOM preparation and document management
β’ Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documents
β’ Proficiency in MS Office
β’ Good communication and teamwork skills
ππΉπΆπ΄πΆπ―πΆπΉπΆππ:
β’ BE Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
β’ 3β5 years of relevant experience in SolidWorks drafting and design
β’ Experience in engineering support or manufacturing environments preferred
