Weβre Hiring: Hardware & Soldering Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Hardware & Soldering Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-precision soldering, hardware testing, and debugging, especially in automotive electronics environments.
Role Overview
As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for high-precision hardware assembly and initial board bring-up.
You will work with Telematics, BCM, and IVI hardware, ensuring prototypes meet rigorous automotive reliability standards through detailed hardware testing and debugging.
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Precision Rework (0201 / LGA / BGA)
- Expert-level soldering of fine-pitch components
- Thermal profiling and temperature control during rework
- Ensuring compliance with industry and quality standards
2. Hardware Testing & Debugging
- Power rail validation and verification
- Debugging of hardware communication protocols
- Fault identification and root cause analysis
3. Documentation & Technical Reporting
- Maintain detailed rework logs
- Prepare basic hardware test reports
- Provide BOM feedback for design improvements
Technical Qualifications
- 2β3 years of experience in hardware soldering / electronics hardware development
- Strong soldering skills (0201, LGA, BGA components)
- Proficiency with rework stations, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and lab equipment
- Good understanding of electronic circuits and PCB layouts
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols is a plus
