Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Solar Technician. The Solar Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing solar power systems to ensure optimal functionality. Daily tasks include performing system inspections, testing electrical components, diagnosing issues, providing customer support, and ensuring safety compliance during operations. The role will also involve collaborating with team members and staying updated on industry standards and advancements in solar technology.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of photovoltaic system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Experience in reading and understanding technical schematics and blueprints
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in solar energy projects
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and customer service abilities
- Physical ability to work at heights and in different weather conditions
- Relevant certifications in solar energy or electrical work are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical school background is advantageous
