Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Technician based in Delhi, India. The Solar Technician will handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar systems, including mechanical and electrical components. Responsibilities include performing pre-commissioning audits, ensuring system performance aligns with design capacity, and providing support for grid synchronization and system commissioning. The technician will also assist in site surveys and work collaboratively with technical supervisors.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Solar Systems, Solar Power, and Power Generation
- Experience in Troubleshooting and resolving issues in solar setups
- Knowledge of the Solar Industry and its standards
- Ability to work on mechanical installations such as module mounting
- Understanding of electrical DC/AC wiring, earthing, and lightning protection systems
- ITI Solar certification or equivalent technical qualifications preferred
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in solar system installation and maintenance is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams, along with strong organizational abilities
- Willingness to work on-site in diverse conditions
