Sales Manager – Solar EPC /C&I – Bengaluru
We are looking for a passionate and result-driven Solar EPC Sales Manager to lead end-toend business development in Bangalore. This role combines strategy, relationship building, and execution—driving lead generation, managing client engagement, and closing commercial & industrial solar projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
• Generate and qualify leads for C&I solar EPC projects (rooftop & ground-mounted).
• Identify potential clients across industries such as manufacturing, warehouses, IT parks, hospitals, malls, educational institutions, etc.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve targets.
• Conduct site visits, client meetings, and technical discussions.
Consultative Selling
• Understand client electricity consumption, tariffs, and financial goals.
• Propose tailored solar solutions.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, ROI analysis, and presentations.
• Lead negotiations and close high-value solar deals.
Market & Channel Development
• Develop partnerships with consultants, architects, electrical contractors, and channel partners.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and policy updates.
• Participate in industry events and networking activities.
Coordination & Reporting
• Work closely with engineering, design, and project teams for smooth handover.
• Maintain CRM updates, sales reports, and forecasting.
• Ensure excellent customer experience from first contact to project commissioning.
Experience
• Must have experience in Solar EPC or Solar Project Sales for Commercial and Industrial B2B customers.
• Proven track record in B2B / C&I sales and closing high-value deals.
• Experience in rooftop solar, ground mount solar, or energy solutions is highly preferred.
Skills
• Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Good understanding of electricity tariffs, ROI, and financial models.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
