Position: Solar Sales Executive/Manager (Channel Partner)
Experience: 2-10 years
Location: PAN India
Job Summary:
Solar Sales Executive/Manager for a channel partner works with distributors, dealers, installers, or franchise partners who sell solar products (like rooftop systems, panels, and inverters). Instead of selling directly to end customers, you enable and grow partner-driven sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner Development & Management
- Recruit new channel partners (installers, EPCs, dealers)
- Train partners on products, pricing, and sales strategy
- Build long-term relationships
2. Sales Growth
- Drive revenue through partner network
- Set sales targets and monitor partner performance
- Support partners in closing large deals
3. Market Expansion
- Identify new territories and business opportunities
- Analyze local competition and pricing trends
4. Technical & Product Support
- Help partners understand system sizing, ROI, subsidies
- Coordinate with engineering teams when needed
5. Scheme & Policy Awareness
- Stay updated on government solar schemes (like rooftop subsidies in India)
- Guide partners and customers on benefits and approvals
Skills Required
- Strong B2B sales & negotiation
- Knowledge of solar products (panels, inverters, net metering)
- Relationship management
- Basic technical understanding of solar systems
- Familiarity with local regulations & DISCOM processes
