Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Sales Executive based in Uttar Pradesh, India. The Solar Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, and managing the full sales cycle. This includes understanding customer requirements, providing tailored solar energy solutions, preparing proposals, conducting follow-ups, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction, staying informed about market trends and competitors, and providing accurate sales forecasts.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Understanding of solar energy solutions, including On-Grid, Hybrid, and Off-Grid systems
- Basic knowledge of solar modules, inverters, and other BOS components
- Proficiency in market analysis, lead generation, and client consultation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work on-site and travel within assigned territories
- Proven track record in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in the renewable energy sector
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Passion for promoting renewable energy and working towards sustainable solutions
