Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Solar Sales Consultant, based in Lucknow. The Solar Sales Consultant will be responsible for prospecting and identifying potential customers, conducting site assessments, and delivering tailored solar solutions. Responsibilities include presenting and explaining solar products, managing sales leads, building client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. The consultant will also provide support throughout the sales process, including preparing quotations and assisting with paperwork for subsidies and approvals.
Qualifications
- Sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of solar products, energy systems, and renewable energy trends
- Customer relationship management and client-focused consulting skills
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to conduct detailed site assessments
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, target-driven environment
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in the renewable energy or solar industry is a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
